Problem:
Increased dead load on floor due to a server room for which it was not designed
Solution
Hot dip galvanized MS fabrication to create a false floor. Load transferred to the column capital.
Fabrication was carried out at workshop and final assembly by bolting was done at site due to working area constraints.
Overview
Heritage Building in Mumbai
Problem:
75-year-old structure with marble slab facade. MS pins supporting the slabs had corroded, thus the slabs started falling
Solution:
Waterproofing of the facade and terrace
Corrosion repairs on the supporting RCC structure
Re-fixing of stone slabs using custom designed SS pins
Cleaning of the stones to restore the historic glory
